Policies
Please read through the following policies below before purchasing
pillows. Should you have any questions, please contact us at info@kricketdesigns.com. Thank you for your interest in Kricket Designs.
Quality and Care
Each Kricket pillow is
hand made with care. To make the pillows, the original garments provided to us are taken apart by undoing the stitching.
Once a customized pattern is made from the fabric, our team creates the pillows with double stitching and reinforced
corners. Each pillow or pillow insert is stuffed with hypo-allergenic soft poly-fil®.
The fabric will be in the condition it is provided to us. Any discolorations
or other characteristics of the fabric will be part of the pillows also, unless it's possible to avoid through patternmaking.
So that the garment is in its best shape, we recommend that you dry clean it before sending it to us. While we stuff
our pillows with allergen-free poly-fil®, we can not guarantee that you will not be allergic to the original fabric.
Kricket Designs has the right to refuse garments should they believe they will not produce quality pillows.
Product Guarantee
Craftsmanship is guaranteed to be free from defects, and we expect that the pillows are long lasting
and stay in good condition. However, if for some reason you experience a defect within the first year, we will
repair the pillow at no cost. Repairs under this guarantee include open seams, detached buttons, or holes in the fabric.
Please note that our guarantee does not include damage caused by children,
pets, liquids (e.g. bleach, red wine), or other accidental damage. If they are repairable, we will fix pillows for a
fee. These repairs must be possible without needing further material.
Shipping and Returns
Your pillows
will be sent and insured via USPS. For domestic orders, the cost of shipping is $25 ($40 for international orders).
We aim to ship pillows back to the customer two to three weeks after the original garment is received. It
will take two to three days within the U.S. via the domestic standard. If you are a local NYC resident and prefer to
pick up your pillows to avoid shipping costs, please let us know and we can arrange this. It's our goal for
you to be completely satisfied with your set of Kricket pillows, and if you're unhappy, so are we. We will refund
100 percent of the cost, excluding shipping, within ten days of product receipt, as long as the pillows are undamaged and
returned to us. The customer must pay for all shipping and related insurance fees for products they return.
Payment Methods
We accept checks or money orders, which can be sent with your garments
to Kricket Designs. Or, payments can be processed securely online through PayPal®, which accepts Mastercard,
Visa, Discover, and American Express. If you choose to pay by PayPal, follow the instructions when ordering.
Privacy
Contact
information including email, telephone number, address, etc. provided by the customer is used solely for the purpose
of completing the order and record keeping. Kricket Designs does not share customer information.
Creative
License
We emphasize that customers make sure they are ready to 'say good-bye' to the garment as is,
since it will take new form. It is important that customers are comfortable letting go and leaving creative
license with us.
